When I actually try to run one of the subprograms, however, (updateR, install.RStudio, etc.) all I get is the above message. Since it is a pretty puzzling error, and Google doesn't help, I'd suggest adding the solution to the Troubleshooting section of the Readme. See getOption("repos") to see what is set.
